This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work on Your Home Tutor.

1. Tutor Lead Subscriptions
Subscription plans and top-up leads are non-refundable once purchased, since leads may be used to unlock contact details immediately after payment. Please review your plan (leads included, validity period) carefully before purchasing.

2. Unused Leads
Any unused leads remaining at the end of your plan's validity period expire and are not refunded or carried forward, unless explicitly stated in a special offer.

3. Payment Errors
If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error (e.g. duplicate payment, amount mismatch), contact us within 7 days with your payment reference and we'll investigate and refund the erroneous charge.

4. Study Materials Marketplace
Since old books/materials are sold directly between individual buyers and sellers, Your Home Tutor does not process or guarantee refunds for these transactions — please coordinate directly with the seller/buyer.

5. Account Cancellation
You can stop using your account anytime. To request permanent deletion of your account and data, contact us via the Contact Us page — we'll act on it within a reasonable time as per applicable data protection norms.

6. How to Request a Refund
Email us with your registered email, transaction details, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
